What the TikTok Shop Margin Calculator does
TikTok Shop sellers pay a platform commission on each order and, when a creator drives the sale, an affiliate commission. Many sales also carry a discount. This calculator works through those deductions to show the margin you keep per order.
Formula
- Sale price = list price × (1 − discount)
- Profit = sale price × (1 − platform rate − affiliate rate) − product cost − shipping
- Highest affiliate rate = (sale price − platform fee − costs) ÷ sale price

How to read the result
Creator commission is often the largest cost in a TikTok Shop sale. Knowing the highest rate you can afford makes negotiations with creators much easier.
Platform promotions and fee holidays change frequently, so update the commission rate from your seller centre.
Marketplace fees change and vary by category and country. Check the platform’s current fee schedule before pricing.
