Events, conferences and festivals
We provide event website design, ticketing and registration for conferences, exhibitions, festivals, venues and event agencies in the UK, the US, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. Attendees can find the agenda, buy tickets and plan their visit on a phone, and your team can see which campaigns are selling.
An event has a fixed date and a sales window that closes whether you are ready or not. Every week the website is slow, unclear or broken is a week of sales you cannot recover. Good event website design gets the essentials live early, then grows with speakers, agenda, exhibitors and practical information as the date approaches.
We work with conference organisers, trade show and exhibition companies, festival promoters, venues, corporate event teams, awards organisers and event agencies that run many events a year. The work covers the site, ticketing and registration, integrations and the campaigns that fill the room.
An event website needs to convince the right people to attend and let them buy a ticket or register in a few taps. After that, it needs to give them everything they need to arrive, find their way and come back next time.
Before the event, that means a clear promise, date, location, price, speakers or line-up, and a checkout that works on a phone. Closer to the date it means an agenda, venue maps, travel and accessibility information, and updates. For sponsors and exhibitors it means packages, floor plans and an enquiry route. After the event, it becomes the archive that sells the next edition.
Sales usually leak in the gap between the campaign and the checkout. The patterns repeat across event types.
We start with website design and development built on reusable templates, so each edition or each event in your portfolio launches quickly. Most builds use WordPress with speaker, session, exhibitor and sponsor content types your team can edit. Ticketing connects to the platform that suits your event, such as Eventbrite, Ticket Tailor, Tito, Cvent, Hopin, Bizzabo or a Gulf platform such as Platinumlist or Webook.
To fill the event, Google Ads and social campaigns run in waves around early bird, speaker announcements and last call. Email marketing nurtures past attendees and registrants who have not paid. For large events, an event assistant on the website or WhatsApp can answer questions about tickets, parking, timings and access, and hand anything unusual to your team.
Saudi Arabia’s events calendar has expanded quickly, with seasons such as Riyadh Season and a large programme of conferences and exhibitions. Events often need a licence or permit through the General Entertainment Authority or other bodies, depending on the type. Attendees expect Arabic first, Mada and Apple Pay at checkout, and WhatsApp as a contact route. We build event sites for Riyadh and across the Gulf, including Dubai, where Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism handles event permits.
In the UK, organisers work with local authority licensing, venue rules and consumer law on ticket terms and secondary resale. In the US, ticketing faces state rules and FTC attention on drip pricing, so the full price including fees should be shown up front. International events need currency, time zone and visa guidance that is easy to find.
This is a composite example of a typical project, not a client story. An organiser runs a two-day conference each year. The site is rebuilt from scratch every edition, tickets are sold on a separate page, and the agenda is a PDF that changes weekly.
The new site is built on a reusable event template. Tickets are embedded from the organiser’s ticketing platform with matching branding. Speakers and sessions are published as they are confirmed, and the agenda can be filtered by track. Each campaign and partner gets its own tracked link. After the event, the site becomes an archive with talks and photos, and the next edition opens for early-bird sales straight away.
An event website typically costs between £2,000 and £35,000, depending on scope. The main drivers are ticketing and registration integration, agenda and speaker complexity, sponsor and exhibitor features, bilingual content and whether you need a reusable multi-event platform. A single event with embedded ticketing sits at the lower end. A portfolio platform for many events, with integrations and Arabic and English content, sits at the upper end. See the ranges below and our pricing page. We give a fixed quote after scoping.

Compliance
General guidance, not legal advice. Your own compliance lead or adviser confirms what applies to your organisation.
Registration data and marketing emails need a lawful basis and consent where PECR applies. Ticket terms and resale rules fall under consumer law. Confirm the details with your adviser.
FTC rules on fees mean the total ticket price should be shown up front, CAN-SPAM covers event emails, and the ADA covers website accessibility. Check state ticketing rules with your legal adviser.
Many events need a licence from the General Entertainment Authority or another body, and the Personal Data Protection Law, overseen by SDAIA, governs attendee data. Your legal team confirms the requirements.
In Dubai, event permits run through the Department of Economy and Tourism, and UAE data protection law covers attendee records. Rules differ by emirate and country, so we check them with you at scoping.
Card data stays with the ticketing or payment provider, and we build the site and checkout path to WCAG 2.2 AA.
