Fashion brands
We design and build fashion ecommerce websites for independent labels, boutiques, modestwear and abaya brands, and growing fashion retailers in the UK, the US, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. Stores are fast on mobile, show clear sizing and fit, connect to Instagram and TikTok, and take local payments.
Fashion is bought on a phone, often straight from a social feed. A shopper sees a piece on Instagram or TikTok, taps through, checks the fit and the delivery date, and decides in seconds. A good fashion ecommerce website makes that path quick and confident, and keeps the brand feeling as considered online as it does on the rail.
We work with independent designers, boutiques, modestwear and abaya labels, streetwear brands, bridal and occasionwear houses, and multi-brand fashion retailers. The work covers the store, product content, search visibility, and the social and email channels that feed it.
A fashion ecommerce website needs to show the product beautifully, answer fit and delivery questions before they are asked, and check out in a few taps on a phone. Brand storytelling matters, but it must never slow the path to purchase.
In practice that means large, fast images and short video, size guides per garment rather than one generic chart, and fabric and care details on every product. It means collections and filters that match how your customers shop, such as by occasion, colour or fit. It also means returns and exchange rules written plainly, because uncertainty about returns stops many orders.
Most abandoned baskets in fashion come from doubt, not price. The causes are familiar.
We build stores through ecommerce development, usually on Shopify or WooCommerce, with a design system that carries your brand across every template. UI and UX design focuses on product pages, filters and checkout, where small improvements matter most.
For visibility, SEO builds collection pages and product copy around the terms shoppers use, such as linen summer dresses or black abayas with pockets. Social media work links shoppable posts to the right products, and email marketing covers welcome, back-in-stock and abandoned basket flows.
Imagery sells fashion, so video production can supply short product clips and lookbook films sized for product pages and social feeds.
In Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, fashion shoppers expect Arabic first, buy-now-pay-later options such as Tabby and Tamara, cash on delivery in some cases, and fast delivery through local couriers. Ramadan and Eid are the peak seasons, so collections and campaigns are planned around them. We build for brands in Riyadh, Dubai and across the region.
In the UK, Black Friday, summer sales and the Christmas period drive the calendar, and clear returns under consumer contract rules are expected. In the US, shoppers compare shipping times and free returns closely, and state sales tax needs handling at checkout. Brands selling across borders also need clear duties and delivery information per country.
This is a composite example of a typical project, not a client story. A modestwear label sells mainly through Instagram direct messages, with orders confirmed by hand and sizes often wrong. Its store has a handful of products and one size chart.
The new Shopify store launches in Arabic and English, with size guides and fit notes on every piece, and shoppable posts that open the exact product. Checkout offers Mada, Apple Pay, Tabby and card payments for Gulf shoppers, and Klarna for UK shoppers. Back-in-stock alerts go out by email and WhatsApp. The label then reviews returns by reason each month and adjusts fit notes where the same issue repeats.
A fashion ecommerce website typically costs between £3,000 and £45,000, depending on scope. The main cost drivers are the number of products and variants, custom design, bilingual stores, integrations with stock and fulfilment systems, and how many markets you sell into. A boutique on a tailored Shopify theme sits at the lower end. A multi-market brand with a custom design, Arabic and English, and a returns portal sits at the upper end. See the ranges below and our pricing page; we give a fixed quote after scoping.

Compliance
General guidance, not legal advice. Your own compliance lead or adviser confirms what applies to your organisation.
Online fashion sales usually carry a cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, so returns terms are shown clearly. Marketing emails and cookies follow UK GDPR and PECR. Confirm the details with your adviser.
The FTC regulates advertising claims and influencer disclosures, and textile and care labelling rules affect product information. State laws such as CCPA/CPRA govern shopper data. Check the requirements with your legal adviser.
The Saudi E-Commerce Law generally requires clear seller details, prices and return terms, and the PDPL, overseen by SDAIA, covers customer data. Your legal team confirms what applies to your store.
UAE consumer protection rules and federal data law affect pricing, returns and customer data. Requirements differ by country, so we check them with you at scoping.
Online stores are a frequent subject of ADA accessibility claims in the US, and accessibility is expected under the UK Equality Act. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA as standard.

Shopify suits most fashion brands because checkout, payments and social selling work well out of the box. WooCommerce suits brands that want full control of content and hosting. We recommend one after looking at your catalogue and channels.
