Content writers usually quote per piece or per word, but the price should reflect the time involved: research and interviews, writing, editing and revisions, and optimisation work such as keyword research. This calculator converts your time into a per-piece and per-word price.
Formula
- Hours = research + words ÷ writing speed + editing + SEO
- Price = hours × hourly rate
- Per word = price ÷ words
