What the Veterinary Fee Pricing Calculator does
Veterinary fees should reflect the time of each team member, consumables and medicines used, equipment wear and a share of practice overhead. Building each service from these parts makes fees consistent and shows which services are underpriced.
Formula
- Direct = vet time × rate + technician time × rate + consumables + equipment
- Loaded cost = direct × (1 + overhead)
- Fee = loaded cost ÷ (1 − margin)
