Practices and pet businesses often discount services for households with several pets, such as a percentage off the second and subsequent pets. This calculator applies the discount structure to a household and shows the effective discount and revenue given up.
Formula
- First pet at full fee; second at the second-pet discount; further pets at the third-pet discount
- Effective discount = discount ÷ full price
