About this tool
What the Trademark Filing Cost Calculator does
Trademark offices charge per class of goods or services. In the US, applications filed on an intent-to-use basis add a statement of use fee per class, and extensions of time add more. Attorney fees for searching and filing come on top. Enter the current fees for your office to build a budget.
Formula
- Government fees = classes × (application fee + surcharges + statement of use + extensions × extension fee)
- Total = government fees + attorney fees
